We partnered with Coaniquem, a Santiago, Chile based nonprofit who provides free burn treatment to children from underserved communities across Latin America. Interdisciplinary teams designed holistic healing environments for kids at Coaniquem’s new burn rehabilitation campus in Concepción.
For a duration of two weeks, we immersed ourselves in Chile, employing participatory research methods to understand the needs of children, parents, and staff at Coaniquem.
Our collective experiences in Chile became the driving force behind our mission—to craft an innovative design for the second floor of the upcoming campus in Concepción. Every lesson learned and every heartfelt connection made contributed to shaping a space that not only reflects but is deeply inspired by the essence of our time in Chile.
